What is HRS4R?

The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is an initiative by the European Commission aimed at improving research careers and working conditions across Europe. Institutions that implement this strategy align their policies with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (previously named Charter & Code).

Participation in HRS4R is voluntary and requires a long-term commitment, involving continuous progress and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
